Kurler Warner is a self taught artist, wife of 26 years to Mr. Warner and mom to 3 amazing human beings, ages 25, 21 and 15. She is a native of the beautiful and exotic islands of Trinidad & Tobago. Her love for creating and designing stemmed from childhood to this very moment in time. Throughout her life she has worked in various creative fields. Her first major job was working as a makeup artist and beauty advisor for Lancôme. She then moved on to teaching core and elective subjects at a small Christian elementary school for about 8 years. For over 15 years she was the volunteer and resident set designer, decorator and prop mistress at The Brooklyn Tabernacle and in 2018 she designed the set of "Prinze The One Man Show." Kurler still currently plans and executes small and corporate special events. Over a year ago she started her surface pattern and design business, in spite of the pandemic bringing plans to a screeching halt. She continued designing, building her portfolio and working on foundational business components of Design by Kurlz LLC. Her designs are now available for licensing, buyouts and are available on everyday household products on print on demand sites.
Design By Kurlz LLC currently sponsors a beautiful Ethiopian boy who is orphaned, through the organization Petros Network. This sponsorship provides for his basic needs and provides him the opportunity to attend school. My desire as my business grows and expands is to support many more orphaned children in Ethiopia through this incredible organization.
Petros Network is based in Portland Oregon, but their impact is felt throughout various countries worldwide with projects that empower women, protect children, improve health care, provide literature and discipleship materials, educate out of poverty, build character through sports, feed families and provide clean water for those adversely affected by poverty.
When my art is purchased you become a partner with me in helping to provide love and the essentials for a precious child in need.
